Valentine's Day Water Bottles for School Treat!

Excuse the terrible pictures I am so lazy any more. I would rather snap pictures with the my phone. Then I regret it when I see them. Ugh!

Here are the waters I did for Payton's class. My husband says the teacher knows exactly what to say to me because she asked me specifically to do the waters because I had done them before and the kids and everyone liked them so much. Hey, everyone likes a compliment so I obliged. Anyways water is one of the cheapest things you can take.

You can get your that are similar here.  If you know me (at all) I can't leave well enough alone so I resized them to better fit my mini bottle and added "Happy Valentine's Day."

Girl Scout Valentine's!

My little Girl Scout wanted to take some Valentine's to her troop.  But being the mom I am I couldn't just have her take the generic type.  I looked online and couldn't find any Girl Scout oriented Valentine's.  Say what?  No Girl Scout Valentine's.  Say it ain't so.  It ain't so...anymore.

Here is what I came up with.  Sucker wrapper Valentine's especially for Girl Scouts.
DIY Girl Scout Valentine

Again this isn't the greatest picture because I was too lazy to get out my big girl camera:0

Homemade School Valentine's

Here are Payton's "girl" class Valentine's this year.  I was pretty happy that I designed them using my Silhouette. I used the Silhouette also to cut the slits on the sides so I could slip the candy necklace candy watch/bracelet through.  I used candy watches instead of necklaces because they were less bulky on the backside of the valentine and because I saw them at the Dollar Tree and couldn't find the full candy necklaces.

Here are the valentine's ready to be packaged up.

I put them in treat bags from Michael's. Then I didn't like that they didn't have each of the girl's individual names on them. So I put each girl's name on a heart shaped sticker on the back to close them up.

These turned out super cute if I do say so myself:)

Valentine's Day - Frugal Husband Gifts

You are one fine piece of meat label I printed off from here and put on the steaks we had for Valentine's Day.  I put it over the price label and put them in the fridge for my husband to find when he got them out to cook them.  Corny, I know.  But after 11 years of marriage he expects it.

I HATE spending money on a piece of paper that almost everyone throws away.  I found the cutest card on Pinterest and since I am so cheap frugal I replicated it at home.

I also made this little book of love coupons.  You can make your own from here.  I edited them in gimp with my own cute little sayings.  I accidentally printed the blank ones off first so our 7 year old wrote in her our own coupons and gave them to him as well.  They were so cute.  Some of her coupons include
  •  slipper delivery
  • 30 minutes of peace
  • uninterrupted nap
  • beverage delivery
  • homemade dessert of his choice

100th Day of School Shirt 2014

mason jar 100th day of school shirt

Mason jar 100th Day of School Shirt for 2014! We made a mason jar filled with foam hearts. This was our inspiration. I'm such a terrible mom though she went to school strutting her stuff only to get into the car at the end of the day and tell me that it WASN'T the 100th day!  Nice going, mom.
